St. Louis hosted the 2009 All-Star Game and it was an exciting week. Kirsten made it to FanFest with Spencer, where they enjoyed several photo ops along with tons of baseball memorabilia displays and games. Looked like fun. The Home Run Derby was fun to watch with our own Albert Pujol's doing quite well. The celebrity softball game was a blast too, with St. Louis' Nellie taking the MVP spot, (at least our vote) and looking like an All-Star himself. The week ended with Stan Musial passing the baseball to President Obama where he proceeded to throw out the first pitch to Albert. The American League took the trophy...again! 4-3. Great game and it could have gone either way.
