What a sweet little town. The first evening we were in town, Tim surprised us with a wine and dessert reception at Newman's Gallery, hosted by the artist himself. This is one of our favorite places to visit! Walking around the town is such a pleasure. There is a HUGE tree in the town square that was planted in 1912, the year Arizona became a state. It is decorated with lights that are timed to play along with Christmas music. My pictures of the tree are too dark to share, but it's a big one! We picked up a couple of gifts, enjoyed some sweets, and then headed back to the hotel to create!
