What a great break! We spent the week at the Lake of the Ozarks! We took off with the Hansen's on Sunday to kick back and play in the sunshine! Go Carts, Mini Golf at the Pirates Cove...arrgghhh! Shopping. Eating out at Dominco's and Kay's...Didn't see Kay...Cooking in. Yummy fresh Amish veggies all the way from Wisconsin and steaks that were fresh from the butcher! Swimming, boating...tubing...fishing...relaxing! Note the photo of the Spoonbill Catfish found near the dam...AFTER we went swimming in the lake! We unanimously decided we would stick to the pool from now on! Not really.
Guitar Hero released a new game on Tuesday so we didn't waste any time checking it out...It ROCKS!
We shared a little family time after the Hansen's headed home. We enjoyed a walk on the dam and the "must stop" at Grandmas Fudge to load up on taffy and homemade fudge for the ride home!
The weekend continued with a father/son & mother/daughter split at the show. Girls saw Hairspray...Very sweet, and the boys saw The Simpson's..Doh...
We threw in a little baseball this afternoon to finish the week with a bang. Ty's team won their first game of the City/County playoffs! One down...two to go!
